Minister Jerry Mills was called to be a Biblical teacher while on military duty in Bosnia in 1996. He has been active in ministry since 1985 in various roles: deacon, teacher, and preacher.

Minister Mills has been at The Land of Promise for about 4 yrs, and is presently working with the Intercessory Prayer Team.

Minister Mills has a Masters of Divinity degree from Samuel DeWitt Proctor School of Theology, at Virginia Union University. He also obtained five units of Clinical Pastoral Education. He has served as a  Chaplain Resident at Mary Washington Hospital.

Minister Mills is married to Tanya D. Mills. They reside in Fredericksburg. They are the proud parents of 4 adult children and have 9 grandchildren.
