Pastor Chuck, a native of Ahoskie, North Carolina, is married to the former Ms. Yevette Gause and they have 3 wonderful children Taylor, Isaiah, and Joshua. The Overton’s currently reside in Stafford, VA where He serves as Site Pastor at The Land of Promise Church, Stafford location, under the anointed leadership of Dr. James E. King, Pastor/Founder.

Pastor Overton holds a B.S. from Elizabeth City State University in Geology and a M.S. from The George Washington University in Systems Engineering. He currently serves as a Managing partner of EMF Industries.

The Stafford church held its first service on Easter Sunday, 2019 and was consecrated on November 23, 2019. The church holds service on Sundays at 8am and a weekly small group study on Tuesdays at 7pm at the Aquia Episcopal Church, Parrish Hall in Stafford.
