Daughters of Promise Women’s Ministry
The Land of Promise recognizes the diverse roles women have in service to their families, the church, and their occupations. We strive to provide a biblical platform for women to meet, grow, encourage, and challenge each other, as they seek to become spiritually mature in Christ. Bible studies and special themed events enable lively discussions, role-playing, fellowship, and pampering.
Men of Iron Ministry
We encourage the growth and development of men who are the spiritual leaders in their homes and have a positive influence in the community. At the Land of Promise, our men meet monthly to share, learn, challenge and encourage one another in their walk with Christ.
Heart-to-Heart Marriage Ministry
Our marriage ministry provides not only married couples, but singles, those desiring marriage, and those who are simply interested in opportunities to interact with other couples and individuals, to share ideas about communicating, trusting, sharing and loving one another while growing together in Christ.
Seniors Ministry
Scripture makes it abundantly clear that the younger generation needs the wisdom of the older. Our seniors (ages 55+) invest in sharing their wisdom through weekly Bible studies and devotionals. They also enjoy fellowship activities and events to ensure active engagement in the church.
Youth & Teen Ministries
The Land of Promise values the development of our children from pre-school through college.
We strive to offer youth and teen ministries, programs and activities to meet the needs of our children.
Equipping and Outreach Ministries
Community Outreach
The Land of Promise provides outreach support with donations, events, and activities throughout the year for the benefit of ministering to our community.
Food Bank Ministry
The Land of Promise participates in providing non-perishable food items to the local county food bank as well as the collection of food during the holidays for our members who need assistance.
New Members Ministry
New converts or those from other churches are invited to join our church through activities that reflects appreciation and supports assimilation. We offer a welcome class that takes the new member into our discipleship studies and engagement to our various ministries.
Evangelism/Discipleship Ministry
The Land of Promise aims to support the mandate of Matthew 28 to “go and make disciples.” Out chief goal is to win converts to Jesus Christ. We also believe the church is only as strong as its members. We strive to provide discipleship training to enable the nurturing and caring of our members so that we grow to be more like Christ.
Small Groups Ministry
The Land of Promise Small Groups Ministry helps our members and guests to become connected and involved on a more personal level. We strive to build relationships through our small groups to help cultivate a sense of belonging that can go a long way toward making our church feel like home and family. Our Small Groups also help to deepen members/guest’s relationship with Christ while receiving the support and encouragement of others walking the same journey.
Church Support Ministries
Prayer Ministry
Our Prayer Ministry engages members and guests in intercessory prayer to support the needs and concerns of our church and to develop a deeper relationship with Christ.
Worship Ministry
The Land of Promise seeks to declare the worth of the Lord Jesus Christ. Our worship is a corporate demonstration of creating an environment where we welcome the Holy Spirit and allow God to be central in the service.
Music Ministry
Our music ministry is comprised of a Praise & Worship Team and Choir Ministry. The Praise & Worship Team is open to active members who demonstrate consistency and willingness as praise leaders. The Sanctuary Choir is open to all members and guests.
Creative Arts Ministry
We express worship in both song and dance. Our Praise Dance Ministry is a liturgical form of worship to express the Word and Spirit of God. We also have a Mime and Drama Ministry that serves to underscore this effort.
Hospitality/Greeters Ministry
One of the most important calls that Christ gives His church is to be welcoming to people. Our greeters and hospitality staff accommodate our guests and visitors and serve our church members demonstrating the love of Christ from the moment a person walks through the door.
Security

Media Ministry
The Audio-Visual Ministry Department, exists to ensure that all graphical and video presentations, as well as sound control and internet streaming functions, are done with professionalism and quality to the glory of God. The AV team welcomes those who recognize their talents and experience in organizing, video recording, microphone
Social Media Ministry
The Land of Promise helps to create awareness for our church and various ministries using Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and other social media to connect the community with what’s going on in and around our church.
