Minister James Morris is called to be a servant, teacher, and a leader. His upbringing by a strong God-fearing mother attributes to his desire and dedication to serve in ministry.

Minister James was born in Philadelphia, PA and accepted Jesus Christ as his personal savior at an early age. He moved to New Jersey and later to Fredericksburg, VA where he joined The Land of Promise in 2012. Minister James served in the U.S. Army and is currently working for the federal government.

Minister James is currently serving as Youth Pastor of Land of Promise. He has also served in the Music Ministry, New Members, Security and other support ministries. In 2016, he entered training to become a minister. Minister James was licensed into the ministry in 2018 under Dr. James E. King, Senior Pastor of The Land of Promise. He was designated as Youth Pastor in 2019.

Minister James is the proud husband to Stephanie Morris, and father to their two remarkable children, Jeremiah and Abigail.
