Minister Yevette Overton, a native of Calabash, North Carolina, is married to the Reverend Chuck E. Overton, and they have three beautiful children Taylor, Isaiah, and Joshua.  The Overton’s currently reside in Stafford, VA, where Minister Overton serves as an Associate Minister at The Land of Promise Church, 5924 Smith Station Road, Fredericksburg, VA, under the anointed leadership of Dr. James E. King, Pastor/Founder. 

Min. Overton holds a B.S. degree from Bowie State University in Sociology/Psychology. Min. Overton currently serves as a Group Chief for the U.S. Office of Personnel Management in Washington, DC.

Min. Overton accepted the call to preach and teach the Gospel of Jesus Christ in 2008 in season and out of season, in all situations. As Associate Minister at The Land of Promise Church, Min. Overton has served in many capacities (i.e., New Members Ministry, Women’s Ministry Coordinator, Min Overton, and her husband served as Leaders in the Marriage Ministry). Currently, she supports Pastor Overton at our Land of Promise Stafford Location.
